I’ve been exercising my Amazon.com account lately and the post office delivered an extra special DVD to my doorstep! I’ve been hooked on this show for several yeasrs now and I can’t get enough of it. Due to its crazy viewing schedule I’ve resigned myself to waiting for the DVD rather than try to catch it here and there when they decide to play it.
VB is a fantastic modern parody of the Johnny Quest cartoons of the 60′s, and yes, maybe the the 90′s version as well. Characterization is amazing and the unique voice of Patrick Warburton, as the Swedish Murder Machine that is Brock Samson is amazing. The show is a tad blue here and there but the in your face attitude makes it just that much more reliable.
I’m waiting to open it over Spring Break, the tension is palpable…

OK…
Season 3 is not for the G/PG crowd. I was quite surprised to find several episodes containing genitalia. While not a prude, I sure don’t need to see it in cartoons. (Although I found one instance particularly funny and appropriate for the occasion.)
